This family has been 35 years in business. Tony still comes out to help serve. The restaurant is in an unexpected setting, in a quiet small town. The plump shrimp were perfect, and the margaritas were large. Casual with a sandy floor.

Best seafood spot in Mismaloya hands down. The lobster is very good and a must try. We ordered the seafood platter n the menu is fresh out of the ocean. Tony, the owner, is really nice n friendly.

This place was recommended by Cesar at our resort Barcelo Puerto Vallarta and it did not disappoint. Herman and his father Tony, named for the restaurant, was amazing. They were so friendly and the food was delicious and fresh from the ocean. It’s off the beaten path but well worth the visit. Would go again in a heartbeat!

Excellent service! Instead of handing us menus our server showed us a platter of fresh seafood and meats and we got to pick exactly which we wanted. The vibe was lovely, and the food was great.

Amazing restaurant off the beaten path in Mismaloya. A bit rustic but fantastic for adventurers looking for something non-touristy. Located within a literal stone's throw from Mr. Tequila, which we had visited just prior, the atmosphere of this place honestly can't be overstated (literally and figuratively). They have two dining levels and the walls on the front and back of the building are open (no windows, just guardrails), so you can see the beautiful valley below, from the sea out the right to the deep jungle valley up in the mountain. Honestly amazing views. The floors are also covered with sand, so it's like you're dining on the beach. Our host was also our server, bartender, and busser, so staff is minimal, but service was still very good. We were here during the low season, and also kinda early in the day, so we were the only guests there for a while. Food and drinks were also great, we had margaritas all around (2 rounds) which were extremely good, and the fish was delicious, all 4 of us ordered different things and loved what we got. Also of particular note: They do NOT take cards and there is no ATM on site, so bring cash. They prefer Pesos but will take USD as well if needed. We spent about 800MX per person between drinks and food. All around, I fully recommend this place and will definitely be back.

This was a charming spot. A must do!! Sometimes, there is a place where ambiance and experience trumps the food. This place did just that. The food was good, and the service and ambiance were amazing. We ordered everything on the tray. No regrets. Amazing night, and I will not forget this amazing experience. Job well done

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! From the time we got there until the time we left the experience was amazing and the food was even better. Our wonderful waiter brought us the menu of all of the fresh catches on a tray as the menu. We ordered the whole redfish, lobster tails, coconut shrimp, mahi mahi, and the filet and everything was 10 star quality along with huge portions. Only thing I can say about this place is that it’s CASH ONLY at this time. We will be back!
